Privacy

Defrag keeps as little as it can: enough to record who played whom and what happened.

What we store

We do not collect dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers or any other personal details. Players do not have accounts and there is no sign-up.

Why

To run a ranking of real EA FC matches: confirming results, settling disputes and calculating ratings. Player profiles are created only for people who have chosen to take part.

What is public

Player names, X handles, PlayStation or Xbox IDs, platforms, confirmed and voided results with a link to the X post they were reported in, ratings and rankings. Claimed and disputed results are not shown publicly.

Evidence screenshots

Screenshots stored by Defrag are not shown on this site; only the Defrag administrator can see them. (The post you made on X stays public on X.) When a screenshot is uploaded it is resized and re-saved, which removes hidden metadata such as location data.

Pending: how long screenshots are kept.

Cookies and tracking

Visitors get no cookies. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising and no third-party scripts or fonts. The only cookie is the administrator’s sign-in session.

Server logs

The web server keeps a log of requests: the page address, the time, the response, the browser’s user agent, the page you came from, and a shortened IP address. The last part of the IP address is removed before it is written, so the log shows a network area rather than a device. The logs are used to keep the site running and to see which pages are read. They are not shared and are deleted after 30 days.

Defrag’s own application log records what changed, for example that a match was confirmed, and does not record IP addresses. It is deleted after a month.

Corrections and removal

You can ask Defrag to correct your details or to remove your player profile.
