Season 0
Rules
Play a match, post the result on X, climb the table.
How to report a result
Post the result on X the way you already do, and include:
- a mention of @getdefrag;
- the score, your goals first;
- a mention of your opponent;
- the game’s hashtag, e.g.
#FC27; - a screenshot or photo of the final score screen, ideally showing both gamertags.
For example:
@getdefrag 3-1 @opponent #FC27

Anything else you want to say is fine. Both players need a Defrag profile; if you are new, Defrag sets one up from your first report.
Games and modes
The games for Season 0 have not been announced yet.
When a result counts
Your opponent agrees by replying to your post. If they reply to agree, or 24 hours pass without a dispute, Defrag confirms the result and it counts. Until then it is claimed and does not count.
Disputes
Disagree with a result? Reply to the post within 24 hours. A disputed result does not count while Defrag reviews it. It is then either confirmed or voided.
Voided results
A voided result stays on record, marked void, and no longer counts. Every rating in the season is recalculated without it.
How ratings work
Defrag uses plain Elo.
- Each game has its own ranking. An FC 26 result never changes your FC 27 rating.
- Everyone starts the season at 1500. Your first confirmed match puts you in the rankings.
- Only the outcome counts: a win scores 1, a draw ½, a loss 0. The goal margin does not change the rating.
- Beating a higher-rated player earns more points than beating a lower-rated one. The most anyone can gain or lose in one match is 32 points.
- Both players move by the same number of points in opposite directions, rounded to whole points.
- Ratings are recalculated from every confirmed result in the order the matches were played, so a corrected or voided result is reflected everywhere.
- Players with the same rating share a rank.
